Description of Hotel Alfa Zermatt
The cosy, family-run Alfa Zermatt hotel enjoys a central situation in the heart of Zermatt, only 5 minutes' walk from the train station, and offers superb Matterhorn views from most rooms. A rich complimentary breakfast buffet with an organic food corner served in the sister hotel next door provides for a good start. Local specialities as well as selected dishes of the international cuisine can be enjoyed there as well. The new spa centre of the sister hotel is also accessible for guests of the Hotel Alfa Zermatt. Wireless internet access is available free of charge. You can also make use of the hotel's transfer service from and to the train station. Pets permitted at CHF 10.00 per day and pet. Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Breakfast and taxes are included in room rates. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE CANCELLATION POLICY OF THE HOTEL In winter: - up to 7 days prior arrival: no fee - less than 7 days prior arrival: 1st + 2nd night will be charged. In summer: - up to 2 days prior arrival: no fee - less than 2 days prior arrival: 1st night will be charged.

“ Good location, only 5 mins walk from station. Breakfast is excellent, served next door at 4-star Hotel Metropol. Single rooms are a little small and cramped, but good enough. Room has wardrobe, sink, mirror, tv, 3 towels and a cloth. Beds are firm. Good all around. ”

“ Cheap compared to other places in the village, but I found the management to be awful. The owners were rude and very obtrusive- I felt like I had no privacy. In hindsight, I would have rather paid another 30 francs per night in exchange for privacy and a little more respect. ”

Service is fantastic :) The spa, sauna and steam room in the Hotel Metropol were great after my hike and it was well priced. Free wifi was handy. Fan in toilet is... more ”
