Accomadation is affordable at the Matterhorn Hostel!!! Night life is some of the best I have ever been to. A tip, bring your own food, pack sandwiches, things really are not too cheap in this town. But that is what you would expect.close

This beutiful little town, 1400 meters above sea-level, surrounded by mountains and has the Matterhorn in its backyard, was surely the top of my trip. And the character of the town is enough of a reason to go there. Everyone in that town was wery helpful and nice. I encourage everyone planing a travel to the alps to go there, if only for one day, just to see how beautiful it really is!close

Top Rated Zermatt Places to Stay

  1. Hotel Alfa Zermatt 93%

A couple of real Fawlty Towers moments! The wife of the couple that runs the hotel was very friendly and accommodating, but the husband was, well, Basil Fawlty. Crazy!

For 50ch including breakfast was the best value we had in Switzerland. Zermatt can be very expensive and this made our stay very enjoyable. Thanks to the staff for their friendly and helpful service. Will return in the future to the Alfa in Zermatt.

Really nice people there. I truly enjoyed my stay!!! Met people from Ireland, Thailand, Taiwan and Australia. Many climbers also there and a nice Pub is just 5 minutes away. Go there and it will be nice.

My bag got stolen from the left luggage room and I picked up scabies (a parasite) from the bedding. Defintly the worst hostel i've stayed in!
