the only hostel which was available in zakopane and i would advise against it!! A bit like an abandoned hospital or school, no security lockers in the rooms and a bit overpriced for what it was. Although it was close to the main street in town.

A lovely hostel, you can walk to krupowi street in about 2 minutes and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, they even kept my bags safe for a night at no charge and let me use the internet and showers free when i came to collect them the next day. Highly recommended.

Would have been nice to know we would be sharing a dorm with smokers who smoked in the room, as we are both non smokers, but other than that no problems. Rooms were quite big and it was nice to have a table and a sink in the room.

The showers are not even on the same floor as the rooms, they are down in the basement and they are not divided into male/female, but there is only a curtain. There is nowhere to hang your stuff, and the floor is dirty. The toilets and rooms were dirty and shabby. There are no lockers, no...

This hostel is very basic and was ok for a night, but if you plan to stay longer in beautiful Zakopane, I'd definitely recommend finding somewhere a little more comfortable and clean!

The staff spoke good English and were very helpful. It was more of a family place than a backpackers hostel. The toilets ran out of paper and there was a notice sign which implied an offensive word which I thought was inapproriate in the main floor toilets. The lack of a kitchen was laundry...

The security was poor due to there being no security lockers and only one key for each room. In the two nights that we stayed there the key went missing twice which meant we had to wait at reception until it reappeared. There are only two toilets for the whole place and only one was working whilst we were there. The area that the hostel scores low in will probably only be improved upon when there is competition from other hostels in the area.close

Not to say too much it wasnt what we expected. The Location is excelent if you ant to visit Zakopane a great town but it got a bit touristy since the last time I've been there (which was over 10 years ago). If you dont mind staying in a ex-boarding house from the communist years of Poland then...

The better of the two crap hostels in Zakopane. Not much of a vibe. Mind you, met some cool people there.

Pretty run down place. All showers are in the basement/ground floor, so it's a real pain if you're staying on the first and second floor. Also it's quite a walk from the train and bus station.

Not a very enjoyable place, it's somekind of student housing project. Staff is very friendly though and the location is quite good, 5 minutes from the main street. No kitchen, crappy showers, very few toilets, no toiletpaper. But the beds work.
