Not a bad place at all. Not in the centre of town but not so far away as to be a major problem. The kitchen was very tiny and a bit chaotic/messy. Doesnt really have a common room or TV but otherwise fine! The guys were helpful and was cool to leave a message on the wall!

Staying here has been by far the most positive and memorable experience I have ever had at a hostel. The staff was completely accommodating and awesome in every way. The only thing you have to watch for is how this place sucks you in. You'll never want to go home.

This is a pretty decent place with good beds. Owner speaks very good English and always willing to give advice. Would probably be better if this place wasn't in Zagreb (Zagreb not that great a city)

Really cool and laid back place with very friendly staff. Would be a great place to go if you were planning on staying several nights in Zagreb. Not very central, but bus connections are frequent and easy.

A proper hostel the way it should be. Based on fun and intimate surrounding. The best hosts i have had the fortune of meeting. The first thing they did was show me where all the pubs were. Need i say more

An okay place but went expecting a common room, airport delivery service and great location which didn't really materialise. Have a look at the other hostels in Zagreb as well!

Very friendly+helpful staff and nice clean rooms, but the bathrooms were not so fantastic and the walls are really thin, so it is quite noisy

Loved Hostel Carpe Diem... very friendly, close to a bus stop that goes right into the city (or a short walk works). Josef gave great recommendations on where to go and what to do... definitely recommend it for a stay in Zagreb.

Chilled to the max dude. Totally outrageous hostel. Only problem is the kitchen is far too small.. but the staff more than make up for it as they would bend over backwards for you. Plus they let u write on the walls!!

The hostel had only opened a month or two when we got there so a lot of work was still being done. No complaints from me though other than the big hill to get back from town at night! The staff went out of their way to be helpful and I'd recommend this hostel.

Really cool little hostel, only stayed three nights, but plan on staying there next time i go back to Zagreb - the two guys who run it are really awesome, and the hallway & kitchen are covered in usefull hints and comments left by previous occupants.
