The fact that there are a a few flights of stairs to get to the apartment it provides it own natural security. There is a supermarket and bakery down the road to stock the apartment and is about 20 mins walk into the main city square (that\'s if you want to walk) - it\'s about 5 mins by tram. I would definitely stay here again if I wanted to go to Zargreb again.close

I thought the food was really good. The dude at the hostel told me to go to this restaurant/cafe type place called something Auria, sorry I can't remember the name, it's under the furnicular near Mango clothing store. And next to the Mango store is a really nice cake store there and order the Kremenista, get the Zagreb one, it's way nicer than the other flavours. The hot chocolate there is interesting so give that a try. As for museums, I thought the Naive Art museum was the best. I think two days is really enough in Zagreb, I would recommend going on side trips if your stay is longer.close

I say spend one night in Zagreb and you can see the majority of the town. Spend 2 nights and you can hit a few museums as well, which is well worth it. It's a very cosmopolitan little city, so don't go expecting any bargain shopping or anything. If you aren't heading further south into Croatia then a day trip to the Plitvice Lakes is also a good idea.close

Worst hostel I've ever stayed in. Beds had bugs in and we got badly bitten, only one shower and toilet in the whole hostel and it barely works, the owner charged us more than the Hostelworld quoted price and then didn't return our £10 key deposit. Ignore the good reviews and avoid this place.

Great directions! Owner could not have been more helpful with regards to suggestions and maps etc. Room was great value for money! Not much more than the Hostel across the road.

great staff, tin is the best. sat us down and told us where all the good and cheap stuff was in zagreb. amazing location right off the main square. bakery opened late across the street, right above a bar, so if you don't like a party scene or are not a sound sleeper, get something off a smaller...

Lovely flat!! Nearly all confort is there : A/C, dishwasher... Good communication with the lady who is hiring it. Unfortunately it is located at the 4th floor without lift. And also the shower needs to be mended, also it still can be used. But as a whole very nice place to stay!!

The staff spoke fluent English and were very helpful. The hotel is outside the city centre but is on the main bus route from the airport to the city centre. On arrival at the hotel I was given a discount on the original price of the double room as I was staying on my own.

Well im pretty sure that is not a hostel but mostely a cheap hotel, the location is terrible, its very hard to go to the city at night, you for sure will need a taxi and during a day you need the bus and the train, that will take probably like 45 min to one hour, so if youre looking for a hostel...
