It's a hostel, what do you expect? The staff is friendly enough and there's no bedbugs. The best part of the Allen Lee is definitely its location. I would recommend staying there.

1. needs a cooking place or cafteria experience 2. really appreciated the TV, newspaper, and basin. 3. Staff far superior to any I've met in 25 years 4. breakfast is trite, but at least you have one.

Good rooms! Big TV, was great during the presidential elections. Nice bed and bathroom. Nice with FREE internet and computer, those that charge for it are very cheap... We had a private room with a shared bathroom. Daily room service, TV, sink in the room, breakfast, gave it a bit of a hotel feel. Heat didn't initially work but was quickly fixed on request.

It is very noisy from the street and we had windows that let in very much cold air, so bring a warm pyjamas if staying there when it's cold.

It is a very dirty place to be. Everywhere garbagecans (full), filthy carped, poisonleafs against mice and rats, Nasty smell. We immediately decided to leave this place. We didn't sleep here at all. We paid in advance unfortunately. I recommend no one to go there ever

Transparency on your website would be nice. That is, if Hostel World had told me that the 10% deposit would NOT go toward my final bill, I could have made a more-informed decision. I don't mind paying a flat-rate transaction fee to pay for your site's service; but to instead charge me a 10% "deposit", which doesn't really function as a deposit, is a misrepresentation.close

The Hotel is quit old eventhough it is renovated. Hotel's location is OK, not far from Licon. However,it is difficult to find something to eat around the hotel. I find mouses in my room and ton of dust is on the bed.

the hostel could not be at a best location. It's close to all the monuments and George Washington University and close to the metro. But the rooms need a serious makeover and they overbook the rooms so our room wasn't available. So they undergrade the room without full money compensation.
