My favorite area of town by far was the Repbulic of Uzupis, which is basically an art district that happened… more to delcare itself an autonomous republic.   “ unless you are a church enthusiast then there is not realy much to do here there are countless churches to se, wich are very old full of history and beautiful. but there realy is not to much else. i found most of the pl to be extramly rude as if by being there you were ofending them or… more something i hope nothing goes wrong on your trip there because they seemed to go out of there way to be as unhelpful as posible. don't expect to much english here i only ran into a couple of ppl who could speak broken english and the others do not have the paitence to try to comunicate. i do not think this city is geared for tourists but they seem to be trying in some ways.close

  “ We loved climbing up to the Three Crosses - excellent view, woodlands are lovely, very peaceful. Bars/Cafes are cool, esp Uzupis just near the bridge. Also loved exploring the University, Trakai and KGB museum. Our favorite spot in the Baltics!
