This hotel is very good value for the money. The rooms are clean and at least the one we where in has been renovated not long ago. Our room had a sound-proof window to a very busy road. Could be a problem if it's hot because there's no air condition because it gets quite loud if opened. The... more This hotel is very good value for the money. The rooms are clean and at least the one we where in has been renovated not long ago. Our room had a sound-proof window to a very busy road. Could be a problem if it's hot because there's no air condition because it gets quite loud if opened. The (locked) door to the neighboring room was not sound-proof at all, so you could hear anything that was going on there. This was a bit anoying. But overall, this hotel is a good choice.close

A comon normal old hotel... it was cheap.. the wifi conection it´s too complicated....

The location of the hotel itself (district) is not that good, but still it's only about 20 min walk from the centre and about 2 U-bahn stops from the centre. The breakfast is nice. They clean the room everyday. I would recomend.

close to train station (subanhoff) and good breakfast! room s were pretty clean, but lobby was kind of dingy. definitely smokers. overall, not a bad place to stay.

This is a budget hotel, a bit old fashion, and with a look "of being used", so don't expect to much. But on the other hand for the money they provide good standard. Rooms clean. But on the other hand for the money they provide good standard. Rooms clean. I did read some comments before about good breakfast, I confirm. Their buffet "breaky" provide good "fluel" for a long day in Vienna. For train travellers they have very good location, just a few steps from undergound U1, and maybe 300m to the South Station (there is nothing more confusing then being late to train by some traffic jam). So, although my points are average, I would recomend this hotel to budget travellers. You may have a good room just for 40 Euro (official charge is 128 euro), well located, in the one of most interesting european capitals.close

Little old and outdated. Beds were comfortable. The first conceirge was rather unhelpful. The rest of the staff were lovely.

Security isn't a top priority here, but in other regards it was quite good. For the money, it's hard to do better. The location and price were excellent. The room was large and spotless, and the en-suite was squeaky clean and bright and a good, decent size. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast was superb - juice, tea, coffee, cold meats, cheese, yogurt, cereals, bread, hot dishes... more The location and price were excellent. The room was large and spotless, and the en-suite was squeaky clean and bright and a good, decent size. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast was superb - juice, tea, coffee, cold meats, cheese, yogurt, cereals, bread, hot dishes of eggs and ham, and various other Austrian items foreign to us. The U-Bahn station was literally around the corner, and Sudbahnhof was literally across the road, which was great for the bus to and from the airport. Belvedere Palace was a 2 minute walk away. 2 supermarkets were on the street behind the hotel, on the same block. My only complaint is that the room smelled horribly smokey on arrival, which persisted for 2 days and eventually went away. The room was warm and the quilts were very cosy. Beds were comfy, with a big pillow. It is a tourist class hotel, so don't expect it to be lively - the area is also quite tame, but that suited us. With the U-bahn so close, everything was accessible within minutes. Recommended!!!close
