Reserved a two room suite with two beds but were given a one bed with a cot. Complained to desk and staff rectified the situation by giving us a second room (small but sufficient)at no additional cost. Pleasantly surprised at this great hotel. The pictures and info I looked at beforehand did not do justice to the hotels high standards. It should be made clear that Taubmentgasse is the nearest U Bahn station! Many Thanks.

we contacted the hotel well in advance tp shorten the duration of our stay but were disappointed when our original deposit could not be discounted from our final bill, leaving us with a hefty bill for 2 nights' stay....thumbs down to the staff at reception!

Myself and my two adult childrenenjoyed our stay at Hotel Papageno. Our room was clean and large as well as the bath.The staff was very helpful and firendly. Internet access was awelcomeplus. No better place for the money- by far! I loved the place, and have stayed at much more expensive hotels for half the room. You can eat off the bathroom floors and have plenty of space in your room. It's not really a hostel, in fact more of a quality three star hotel. It was luxurious and comfortble and a perfect base for exploring Vienna, right next to Karlsplatz.
