very close to everything and the staff are all really friendly and helpful! from experience, the larger hostels are usually not as nice as the smaller ones, but i think this one is an exception

Facilities were all fine and location close to rail link was convenient, if not central. Atmosphere felt a bit "regimented" compared to most hostels.

Ok hostel but: Computers were broken! And wi-Fi is really baaad...worthless almost. So, with no internet and sh*t wifi you would expect a discount. Nope. And none of the staff had any idea about the connection issue: not even where th router was!!! Breakfast avg. Rooms packed (and it was... more Ok hostel but: Computers were broken! Our stay at Westend city hostel was quite nice. Location was good as its extremely close to the main train station and a tube station. The hostel is easy to find and has a good common room. Unless you're 50 years old and want a quiet bland hostel with no activities, no fun, even the wall color is super lame, then go to the Wombats Hostel a few blocks away. I was kicking myself for staying a whole damn week in this hostel, where I could've stayed there. for such a big hostel there wasnt alot going on. the beds were clean and the staff friendly but for my money i would stay at either of the "wombat" hostels in vienna, their only a block or two away from this one and much more fun.

Very nice choice. Staff was always helpful and friendly, good conditions and everything always very clean. Just a 3min walk to the Westbanhof(?) subway station so it's close to everything. Highly recommended.

Io dormivo in una stanza di 12 persone mista....e posso dirvi che la struttura è estremamente pulita! I bagni sono super puliti! Ve lo consiglio perchè siete in pieno centro e proprio sotto c'è un locale di Kebab spettacolare! con cira 6€ Kebab + Coca! The location of the hostel is great, only a 10 minute walk into the old town and right around the corner from a supermarket and train/tram station. Breakfast was decent and filling and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to be close to the sights...

If you want to stay near the train station, as I did, this hostel is perfect. When I was there, though, there was a mom with her kid in my dorm! At 10 p.m., she was like, lights out, my kid needs to sleep! Not really the hostel's fault.

AMAZING PLACE TO TO STAY!!! AND THE BEDS ARE WONDERFULL... YOU SLEEP LIKE A BABY!!! EXTREMLY CLEAN AND THE STAFF IS SO FRIENDLY (MAY BE THEY CAN IMPROVEMENT THE BREAKFAST...)

I would recommend this hostel for someone who is not too high maintenance and is only looking for a place to crash- but then again, traveling is not about sticking around your hotel much anyway. Great place to stay although i recomend not staying in the 12 bed dorm as its pretty cosy and you have to deal with people coming home at all hours and the smells.

We found the cleanliness excellent, but someone in our dorm did get bed bugs...they gave her a camp bed tho. Big hostel, but a bathroom per dorm, close to main train station, and metro.

We booked a room for 8 people - very clean, secure hostel. Pretty large room, close to the center - only 5 U-bahn stations from Stephanplatz. The staff was helpfull though I can't say they were fun to talk to. No courtyard, but the breakfast was good. Would stay there again on my next visit to...

my mate got BED BUGS here and they wouldn't give us money back even to wash our cloths, they said they couldn't prove it was them but other people got them as well. but a dam good breakfast u get loads
