excellent hostel, for me it's really value for money. my friend and I spent 6 nights there, it was so wonderful. clean, proper, private bathroom, well-equiped kitchen, security, easy to go to the center and supermarket...perfect location! I really recommend it!

This was a really nice and clean place to stay. The room felt pretty new. Easy enough to find. Staff were really helpful. Had a fridge in our room which was handy

VERY GOOD HOSTEL, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING, METRO, TRAM, RAILWAY STATION ETC. ONLY PROBLEM THE ROOM DO NOT HAVE AIR CON OR FAN, VERY HOT EARLY SEPT. CAN YOU IMAGINE IN SUMMER??!!.

I only stayed there one night but it was very enjoyable. Room was very clean and spacious, bed very comfortable, no lockers but not really a problem. No bar but a very socialable atmosphere anyway. Free internet!

Really nice place, clean, plenty of room in the common area and a table tennis table. Helpful staff too. 10 minute walk into main city area.

When we finally did find this ADDRESS(not easy) it did not appear to be a hostel at all. No reception, no signage ?!?!, no bells, nothing to indicate that this was a hostel at all besides the fact that it was at the address given. The place was empty and a guy we meet on the street told us that the building was a privet residence! TO add to that, several months later i discovered that this "Hostel" had billed my credit card for the full stay!!! What a scam! No way to contact these people either. IN SHORT-DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!close

As the hostel allowed smoking throughout even in the kitchen this was made for a very unpleasant and unhealthy atmosphere.

Dont go if u're looking to meet people. The girls from reception are nice and they will give u directions to move around but they won't make the xtra effort 2inform you better. The staff is so friendly and personable!! The hostel is very homey and cozy, and make sure to go to the restaurant around the corner for the student special -- and to meet Inga, the nicest Austrian lady ever!

very clean, good located hostel. be aware that they do not accept credit cards, cash only. unfortunately there is no luggage room. kinda annoying. we had to leave it at the westbahnhof.in the kitchen there are no water boilers or toasters... good though

This is a university dorm, so it is very private, very clean, has a great kitchen and it decently located. Not much else.

The room was very clean when we arrived, but during those 6 days of our staying there, nobody cleaned it. The toilet bowl was leaking and I had to permanently sop the dirty fetid water by myself. When I requested the room clening, they told me that this is done for a minimum one week accomodation in the hostel.close

The guy in the front desk was veryyyy helpful.. the place is very nice... the rooms were clean, you have free internet access, and a common kitchen... I loved vienna.. except that day I got there the weather collapsed and my expected 25 degrees turned into 8!!.. Still.. vienna is a dream..

Hostel Strawberry canceled my accomodation a couple of nights before we arrived in Vienna. They sent me an email informing that I would be refunded the deposit which I still haven´t been.

Good location, young and communicative staff. Downside would be the small crowded room and very very small bathroom (i had a private for 4). Overall, I'd choose this hostel for a second trip to Wien.

This place is not far from Downtown AT ALL, its like 20 minutes walk. PLace is impecable, really nice inside, and rooms are great! Staff is very friendly and helpful

Another big budget hotel/hostel clean, tidy, no atmosphere but thats not what you pay for at these places, close to shops and train, all in all not a bad spot to stay.

The rooms were really good, modern and clean. Once we got to grips with Vienna the location was OK, quite close to a metro station. Was a bit worried about leaving bags in the common room all day, as no place to leave them on your day of checkout.

you should adopt a non smoking policy within your building, as someone who comes as a non smoker and from a country (New Zealand) which has non public place smoking bans,the smell of stale cigarette smoke in your building is a bit off putting. Other han that a good stay.

The room was lovely, though a bit like a greenhouse, we had ensuite bathroom which was fab. Fairly good location. Only 3 computers to a big hostel though means long waiting times!!

Nice hostel. Close to the main shopping street and a u-bahn station. Really big hostel, not so cozy, but the common area in nice and kitchen good, there was a fridge in the room! :) they should add a luggage storage room, now the luggage had to be stored in the common room. helpful staff.

Everything was ok, except the fact that, during the day it got very hot in the room. Also, it would be great to have wireless internet connexion. Anyway, I enoyed my recent stay at Strawberry Wien.

Very convinence to the rail station, tram and metro system. A big and well equiped kitchen except has no kettle to boil water. Overall very satisfaction for me when I stayed in Vienna
