although its a little bit far from the center yu can have a nice stay and the opportunity to see the city like an average citizen with the back and forth in the trains,and maybe if yu are lucky meet an wien beautiful girl on your way.

It was full of school groups between the ages of 12 to 16 but it was the off season. Otherwise great!

very clean and some staff very nice but be careful because if you book last minute you save up to 4 euro a night! we booked early and had to pay more! :( This is not a fun hostel..all inj bed by ten and silence requested but easy to get to and cheap..make your own fun! recommended...

A little out of the way and it catered to school groups a little to much. This made all other people staying there feel like outsiders.

Clean and safe. A little way out of town but OK if you are not travelling back alone at night. Staff not overly friendly and I think this is more of a hostel for school groups.

There were lots of loud pre-teens staying when we were there...they woke EVERYBODY up at about 7 AM playing music and yelling in the hallway. Their chaperones didn't do anything to stop them. Other than those jerks, lovely hostel. Excellent check-in help, and great amenities. I recommend it!

Was a pretty clean place that had a good free breakfast. The staff was nice and facility was good. The bad was the location and it was on the outside of the city and took awhile to get to.

We had a very bad time. First we got in a room with 2 drunk guys drinking in the room. Fortunately, the girl at the reception got us 2 beds in a smaller dorm without any extra. I got a book stolen (?) by a room maid. (there wasn;t anyone else in the room but us, and when we got back it was gone)... more We had a very bad time. More of a place you might go for school camp then a hostel. But the rooms were really nice and clean and breakfast was pretty good. Altough it is out of the city centre it is close to the station so its only a quick ride to get there.

They really took the "youth" hostel thing to extremes. Children everywhere... It's quite a distance from "tourist Vienna," but it is right by a metro station, so access isn't too bad. Checkout is at 9:30, which can be a pain if you have absolutely any fun at night.

It could have used a better night life scene because it is far away from the town and the subways do not run after 1230. Overall it was a decent place. They do not give you real pillows so bring your own, the towels would not have fit a child, and the showers well its a bird bath.

I can not fault this place(except the internet should be free)! heaps of diff zones to chill, meet people, internet, rockin bar (we had a beatboxing gig the night i stayed)

This hostel sucks...too dirty...plus they woke me up at 9 oclock one day to change the room,and i couldnt stay relaxed in the other one and have a quiet shower because they were cleaning...to be honest ive been doing an interrail arround Europe for a month and so far this is the worst hostel that...

Loved the isolated location in the woods.. Nice place if you are not looking for a party hostel.. although the checkout time of 0930am was a bit too early for my liking..

Very clean, quiet hostel. Quite far out from the centre and a bitch to get back to after a night out. Also the town of Huttledorf is like a ghost town! If your looking for fun and to meet people, dont go!

A long way out of town so not good for the nightlife - there is a night bus. However, clean and pleasant in a nice residential location - shops/pubs - a short, well sighposted walk (300m) from mainline/U4 metro station. Recommended.

ok location, right near a station, but this hostel didnt have the same feel most others do. i think its the lack of the open kitchen. but if you are not looking to socialize and just need a bed, this place would be great.

good and cheap location. i'd recommend it, except don't expect to do anything in hutteldorf. the place closes by dusk and it's almost impossible to find a good place to eat (except for one pricey bar down the street). it's a ghost town at night. vienna wasn't that great either.

Definitely a good spot to stay if you dont mind being a little out of the city. The walk up the hill can get a little tedious, but the hostel is clean and safe so its worth it.

The hostel was way out of the city centre, close to nothing really. Seemed more of a childrens camp because of all the 12 year old austrian kids staying there. There was 2 huge open areas to meet people, but no one was ever there except old drunk guys. I would never stay here again.
