   A fabulous find. Very basic rooms, location is not the centre of action but a welcoming place. Like staying in the spare room of a mates place, kitchen, internet the works. Great shower.    You ahve to pay for extras like internet (which was frustratingly slow) and breakfast, but the beds, showers etc are great, and the wombar is worth the extra effort to get into city centre

   I've been to 12 countries so far on this trip and the Ruthensteiner was one of the best. Nothing so much about having a great character but great in everyother way. Very good location, great showers, kitchen (good place to meet people), reception (Paula and Ingrid were great!), lounge area,... more I've been to 12 countries so far on this trip and the Ruthensteiner was one of the best. Very good location, great showers, kitchen (good place to meet people), reception (Paula and Ingrid were great!), lounge area, patio, etc. Internet was a bit expensive so I used the one on Wombat's around the corner. I would definetelly recomend!close

   This hostel was in a great location, but I would not stay here again. It felt like a college dorm and had little charm. You also had to wait forever in a line to turn in or pick up your key whenever you came or went anywhere. There are surely other gems in such a wonderful city.
