This pension is ideal for couples. Very calm and relaxing. Very secure. To get to the city centre, take U3. Easy, fast. You can eat as much as you can for breakfast for 10 euro. Try the bar 'Havelka' near Stephan square.

The staff was very friendly. We also received a room with toilet/shower at no additional cost, as we ordered one with a shared bathroom. Late check-out was also not a problem. Warmly recommended! :)

first night, the room in forth floor is very small, the second day, changed to third floor, the room is very good with kitchen, but more expensive.

The rooms are very clean and look new, there was even a bathroom although we booked a room without one. The location is great if you visit an event in the Stadthalle or arrive at the West Bahnhof.

Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht in der Person, aber uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen! Es war nah bei der Stadthalle, so hatten wir es nicht allzu weit zu unserem Celine Dion Konzert. The hostel is great. The room was really confortable and modern. It had a good bed, bathroom and a LCD TV. You will have all queries answered at the reception, plus a "Mozart Kugeln". The only negative aspect was that breakfast was not included.

The photos are very misleading as they are of the hotel reception; the pension is down the road and much different. It had a weird smell and abolutely no character. It it in a rather baren residential area but only 5 minutes walk to Westbahnhoff train station.

The room was fair to middling. Vienna is expensive, so this was good value. (note the map on hostelworld.com was wrong. The pension is actually just north of Westbahnhof). The location is far enough out to be good value, but close to Tram (#49) and U-bahn (U3) so getting around is no trouble.... more The room was fair to middling. The check-in is via a nice 3* hotel just down the street and the room is in a different building up the road. Easy to find supermarket, bakeries, etc nearby for a cheap stay. A bit suburban though, so no clubs/pubs really close. During our visit, my partner suffered chronic gastro from a bad schnitzel, and the hotel staff were amazingly helpful. The arranged an upgrade to a nicer room (with a bathroom) for only 36 euro extra for 2 nights. They helped me find an open pharmacy on a public holiday weekend, and gave us free herbal teas for my sick partner. I would stay in the hotel again.close

Shared toilets should be a bit more furnished, anyway the staff leave you get off on departure day at 12:00...really friendly!

The room carpet was badly stained and the box springs on the beds were torn and very dirty. There were no laundry facilities and there was nothing nearby in terms of activities.

the rooms are private with shared shower and toilet. but the "shared" toilet should be advertised as "private", you can lock the door and be alone while showering etc. It was very clean and quiet. many shared facilities are more like gyms than private rooms. i recommend

I knew I was staying in a hostel, so I didn't really expect much, especcially since they said it was really only for people who want a bed to sleep in, and that was fine. Room was very small and it was not clear at booking that the room has not privat bath room, but this is not the problem of the hotel/hostel this should be better desribed by Hotel world

Very nice place and friendly people. Just a little problem with the reservation. I received confirmation for the hostel, but I had to stay in the hotel (more than double price) because the conditions on the web were different than reality. Nice place and very good staff!

A nice large room. A little far from the main part of town but the tram system is fantastic, tram 18 takes you right to the heart of Vienna. Good supermarket just down the street.

Was there at Christmas, so there wasn't a lot to do. Reception was really helpful in finding places to eat during the holiday season. Great location near the train station, but watch out for the occasional sex shop!

I really found the pensione staff to be extremely helpful. I also didn't expect my room to be cleaned (bed made and rubbish taken out) during my short stay but it was.
