The place is amazing!!!! Was the highlight of my trip. Good price and everything brand new. It's not in Venice itself, but it's really easy to take the bus wich takes about 15 minutes to get to Venice. I would definitelly stay there again.

It would be appropriate for those with a car. We did not find the staff particularly friendly, particularly Paula's daughter. Within our first 1/2 hour of being there, she asked that our two small children (ages 1 and 4) not destroy the room. This was completely unmerited.close

The directions we received (apparently from hostelworld) were a little off... I'll try to get that fixed. Also, at the main road from the hostel, make a left and wake about four minutes. Visit the Marco Polo wine shop... 1 liter of great wine for 3 Euro!close

Very nice place, a little far from Venice, but worth the trouble! Very quiet, large and brand new room. They don't speak english, it was a bit of a problem. Breakfast was a little poor also, it's not worth paying the 5 Euros they charge.

Close to bus route and easy drive to the island though. WELL worth the price. Best hostel so far.close

It's great if you're travelling as a family or as a big-ish group. The houses are located in a quiet suburb, so no worries about noisy partying neighbours. Location: Getting to Venice is fairly easy - you just need to catch the No.5 bus (which is just a 2 mins walk) and that takes you to Piazza le Roma (takes 20 mins) - you'll probably get the day travelcard anyway, so bus trips pay for themselves. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're driving in Italy, as parking is free (and parking is Venice can be such a pain), and do check out the nearby Piero ristorante, which serves EXCELLENT italian food!close

Very beautiful, nice and secure with a locked gate. The only downside was the location. It was a little far from the city and the bus system was confusing. However, we loved this place and would stay there again. Use the kitchen!
