Beautiful Hotel, Slightly off the beaten path but not far from any of the sights. Wonderful breakfast in the back garden. No complaints from staying here.

Pefect location - just a short walk from the train station and easy to walk all over Venice from the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the garden was lovely! Great location (hard to find but so aremost things in Venice). Great location, beautiful rooms, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend!

A great hotel with clean, comfortable and newly remodeled rooms. You can't beat the price, which includes breakfast, highly recommended to anyone traveling to venice.

I am surprised with the rating this hotel has got. The guy in the reception does not know how to treat his customers. I had asked for two double rooms for 4 persons. Due to unavailability, i was given a single room and a double room by hostelworld. I requested if i could stay by paying extra... more I am surprised with the rating this hotel has got. The guy in the reception does not know how to treat his customers. I had asked for two double rooms for 4 persons. Due to unavailability, i was given a single room and a double room by hostelworld. I requested if i could stay by paying extra charges. He used filthy language and caught my collar and manhandled me. He said he will not allow me to step in in the hotel next day for which i had a double room booked. I had to book another accomodation at night and luckily got one. The location is horrible. It is adjacent to the street and whole night we had disturbance from the people talking while passing by. I would never recommend anyone to this hotel and would suggest hostelworld to take some disciplinary action for manhandling its customers. I dont understand what is wrong in requesting for accomodation. Why should he use filthy language and manhandle me?close

I stayed at Locanada Casa del Melograno and I LOVED IT. The room was very nice and clean and the bathrooms are very nice as well. I stayed in a single...so it was a little small, but it was still a great experience. The staff are very nice, generous, welcoming, and helpful. I had no bad experiences during my time at Locanda Casa del Melograno. It's location was perfect as well...only 5 minutes by vaporetto a few minutes from the rialto bride and 20 minutes on vaporetto to get to academia and it is not a far walk from there to St Marks square. There are little venders, lots of stores, and markets located just around the corner from Melograno. I would def go back to Locanda Casa del Melograno.close

Although the weather was rainy and cold, the room was warm. All the pictures demonstrating hotel in internet site are correct and reflecting the truth. Breakfast was more satisfying than I expected. I stayed with my mom and I suggest this hotel to everybody going Venice. If I go there one more time, I will definitely stay at this hotel and tell all my firiends to stay there. Special thanks to hotel for our happy stay in Venice.close

This hotel is very good ! As it has only 6 rooms, there is no matter of security. The Location is also good, near the grand Canal and a vaporetto station (30s by foot ;-). Nevertheless if you are the first time in Venice, you maybe have problems to find it the first time. Simply ask the hotel... more This hotel is very good ! As it has only 6 rooms, there is no matter of security. The Location is also good, near the grand Canal and a vaporetto station (30s by foot ;-). Nevertheless if you are the first time in Venice, you maybe have problems to find it the first time. Simply ask the hotel per mail, they will give you an itinerary description. The staff is so friendly, they help whereever they can. The Breakfast in the morning (included in the price) is not a very huge buffet, but you receive fresh baguette with jam, honey or nutella, orange juice, milk, coffee, or tea as much as you like. It is a very quiet hotel, so it is not a party-hotel. After 24h the reception is closed, but that's only important for your arrival, because afterwards you will receive a key to enter the hotel after midnight. It is also very clean, because it has been renovated in 2003. The bathrooms are exactely as new as they are shown on the pictures, excepted that you have a shower and not a bathtube (these are only in the suites). The pictures from the rooms are also only from the suites, but the double are just a little bit smaler, but they have the same character. All in all, now that I know where the hotel is located, i will go back to it anytime I will be in Venice.close
