Location on the island is brilliant, being in front of FMN. Makes for an easier arrival as you won't get lost in the maze of Venice. Yet it's away from the really crowded touristy venues. The staff was great. My friend & I arrived very late in the evening & were very hungry & they called a local restaurant near by they were friends with & they stayed open just for the two of us & the food & service was great!

Hotel Vecellio is a great place to stay. The staff is very helpful, especially Beata. I enjoyed my stay there a lot!

Great hotel, had issues with it being too hot because the AC system only heats in the winter (even in cold venice, there is a limit!), and showers were very cold... but still absolutely amazing

A very pleasent hotel, the staff were excellent and could'nt do enough to make your stay a memorable one. I would and have already recommended this hotel to friends.

A beautiful hotel with the rooms decorated in old venetian style. Directly in front of the Fondamente Nuove vaparetto stop which made it easy to get around. Very helpful owner with lots of tips!

The people who worked there were really nice & very helpful. The hotel was also very easy to find. . . .take any of the water BUSES (not taxis which will run you about $100) 41, 42, 51, or 52 which will take you right up to the hotel. . .my friends & I have been traveling around Europe... more The people who worked there were really nice & very helpful. The hotel was also very easy to find. . . .take any of the water BUSES (not taxis which will run you about $100) 41, 42, 51, or 52 which will take you right up to the hotel. . .my friends & I have been traveling around Europe & so far Venice has been my favorite. We only stayed for one night & one day because there was a mix up with our flight but I would recommend staying for about 3 days.close
