If you're looking for a place a little out of the city center, Lido island is probably a good bet. This hotel was very quaint and quite, however, we did travel outside of busy season.

Wonderful place for you on Lido island. Quiet and near the beach. Only 10 minutes on feet to cinema palace.

Stuff spoke in English not very good. Under the bed it was very dirty, they didn't clean after previous guests. It was awful!!! Bed wasn't comfortable!

They had a great complimentary breakfast with hard boiled eggs! Great for those of us used to some protein in the mornings!!!

It isn't on the main island BUT it is incredibly easy to get around the islands and the staff help you navigate. We were there for Venice, but if we had had more time we would've walked across the street to the beach!! It is a fun place.

I got into Venezia at 6am on a Saturday and they let me check in early! It was nice to have a shower and a nap before doing the city sites all day. KEEP IN MIND THAT VENICE BEACH HAS LITTLE TO NO NIGHT LIFE, so have your fun in the city, take a night-bus back to the beach!close

So cute and very very clean! If you dont mind a short bus ride to the main land, stay here on the Lido. The beach is GREAT and it is so beautiful!

Lili and Abdul were very friendly and nice people. The Hotel has a personal touch and is very very clean. This is the place recomended for all budget travellers.

not on the main island of venice, but it wasnt hard to get to venice attractions. very clean and well kept. the included breakfast was very good. would stay at again.

Hotel Rivamare was nice in that the facilities were very quiet (I never heard a peep from any other guests). However, the water never even rose to lukewarm temperature so I couldnt even wash my face, much less take a shower. We didn't mind that the hotel was on Lido because it was quite nice coming into venice on the waterbus every morning and evening. It's about a 3 or 4 min bus ride to the water bus station (from the hotel) then about 20 mins on the water bus. The hotel is one road back from the beach, which was a bit chilly when we were there, but I'm sure would be really nice in the summer.close

nice hotel next to the beach on lido island, but not close to the main areas of venice. it takes about a 40 minute boat ride to get to st. marks or the train station.

Great hotel with nice beach front location. The location is nice and close to 15 mins walk from Santa Maria Elisabetta, boat stop in Lido. It is well served by Bus line V till 8.30 pm. The morning buffet breakfast is delicious. The hotel is ultra safe and a good value for money deal.

Everything was fine except the common shower room where the water in the shower wouldn't drain well... I informed the personel and they cleaned the shower but still it didn't drain well...

My room also didnt have air cond and a TV as advertised, believe me when its over 35 degrees in Aug you definately need it. The staff did lend me a fan to try and compensate. Nightlife in the area and at the hotel is also very poor.close

`this place was very cute. we liked that it was away from the tourist spots in `venezia, and that it was close to the beautiful beach. we recommend staying outside of venice. breakfast was nice and it was quiet. our room had a balcony and air conditioning. highly recommended!

overall a nice place, one bathroom for an entire floor. a nice change from staying at hostels, it was clean and i guess thats all that matters. they take your key from you when you go out and give it back when you return later that night, but they never asked for id or anything so anyone could...

I didnt realize before booking that this hotel is located on the Island Lido. I made carrying our luggage, and finding the hotel from the train station quite difficult, especially since there was a transportation strike. Nice place on the Lido (not on the mainland but still very close to by vaporetto ride). Tad bit expensive but so is everything else in Venice. Great breakfast!!!
