Good place to stay for the price, very close to venice mainland, frequent trains and buses to venice mainland. The room and the bathroom were very clean, and the staff gave us good information on the places to visit as well as travel info to and from hotel. Would stay again

Very bad location and I did not feel safe in this area. It was difficult to get to. The receptionist woman was extremely rude and made me feel very unwelcome. I do not recommend this place at all to other travellers.

Beautiful hotel just across bridge from Venice. Very clean. Manager extremely friendly and helpful, instructs you on how to get around Venice. Laundry near hotel as well, but not much else.

Gret location if you dont want to stay on the islands of Venice. Only a few minutes into the main island and 5 min walk to the bus or trains. The lady who runs the hotel was excellent. Definetly reccomend this place.

I think it's okey for one night if you really can't find anything better but I wouldn't recommend it. Our room was clean but the bathroom had extremely strong smell of cabbage and shower's waterpressure was amazingly weak.The woman in front desk looked at me weird when I asked about breakfest.

Really good value, well-maintainedand spotlessly clean. Very quiet. Never did hearcleaning staff.Locationfine for trains and bus in to Venice.Front door key provided so free to come and go.

This is a great place to stay if you prefer an out of the center of Venice spot. It´s very close to the metro (a 5 minute walk) which will take you into Venice. Breakfast was great and the owner was very helpful. I enjoyed my stay here very much!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Martello. It was clean and the staff was very warm and helpful. The bus stop is a short walk and you can be in Venice in 10min. You can also get breakfast for an additional $5 which was well worth it. And there's also free access to the internet in the lobby...

Very clean, hostess was helpful and spoke decent English. Location was a bit of a pain to get to Venice and I wouldn't recommend walking around at night. Air conditioning was freezing and shower kept changing from hot and cold. Long line for internet.

The lady who ownwed the hotel was really helpful and friendly. You got your own safe in the room to keep your valuables in free of charge. She helped direct you to the main parts of Venice. There's asupermarket very close by too.

We were 3 girls visiting Venice. The hostel room was like a 1 star hotel room, that is nice and clean. The owner of the hostel was very nice and kind. Regarding the position of the hotel, close to train station & bus stop in MESTRE, it was the ideal place to stay.

we enjoyed staying there, the owner was veryy helpful, she explained everything. also room was clean. you have to use bus or train to go to historic area but it is very close, don't matter the distance.

located in the mainland (mestre), it is a cheap (in venetian terms) alternative to expensive hotels on the island. it is a 10 minute, 1 euro train ride to the island. keep in mind however there is not much to see in the area.

Great spot in Mestre. Close to station and its only a euro to get into Venice. Area seemed pretty safe but would recommend trying to get back before it gets too dark. Top marks!

Very clean and quiet hostel in Marghera. Venice is about 10 minutes by bus, the bus stop is about 2 minutes walk. Ideal place if you want to spend your hollyday away from the crowd, but not too far away from the centre.
