nice and close to bus station, if arriving in the wee hrs, like us, could walk everywhere around venice, overlooked little canal & quaint shops etc, staff friendly, updated and very clean. Breakfast in morning a welcome bonus, would definately stay there again.

In general a fine little pensione, but they advertise a 10% discount in restaurant next door which didn't happen. We complained and were at first told that our hotel bill would be discounted instead, but that didn't happen either.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel! It was really nice, clean and the staff was really friendly. The location is also great because you can reach it very fast from the railway station and in 5 minutes you are at canal grande!

Clean rooms, hot showers, nice breakfast, quiet location but close to everything... one thing I didn't like was that we didn't have the canal view, which was what we were looking forward to, but there are canals everywhere in Venice so it didn't really matter afterwards. Excellent small hotel with very friendly & helpful reception staff. Very convenient location to get to and from with heavy luggage - minimal number of steep bridges to cross. I'm backpacking for 10 weeks, internet connection is very important to me as I need to book flights/trains or hostels ahead. This hotel advertised with Wi-Fi or internet connection, in fact it wasn't true. The old lady at the front desk wasn't friendly at all, got annoyed and asked me to go to internet cafes. Breakfast at the restaurant next door was horrible. Basicaly couple pieces of dinner rolls and jam/nutella. Security was weird too, you have to leave the key with the hotel when you leave, the next time I walked in I just call out a room number and they'd hand over the key (a different staff who never saw me) The keys are even visible right when you walk in! The younger lady and the old guy were better in their manner. One positive thing is that the room was really clean really nice. Thumbs up on that.close

Close to the station, so paying 5 Euro to get there by water bus is not neccessary. A 30-minute "hike" to San Marco, but with all the shops and cool things to see along the way, the time flies by. Great breakfast, small space in the room, and weak air conditioning, but overall highly...
