Seemed to be very over priced for a single room with a shared bathroom out of peak season. Staff on Sunday where not very helpful or knowledgeabl in response to questions.

My sister and I stayed in an apartment around the block from the main building- which was not a problem at all. The apartment was really nice, with two bedrooms off a large living room/kitchen with a tv, computer and washing machine. Nice bathroom to share with only one other room. Good location, close to train station and walking distance to all other attractions. Marco was great! Helping us with our heavy bags, calling to make dinner or activity reservations, and always available by message over the computer. He even let me stay in the livingroom after we had checked out to wait for our train because I wasn't feeling well! Thanks again!close

The staff at Alla Fava is amazing. i love this hotel. The hostess was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure we got what we needed and knew where we were headed durng the day. Loved this place - be warned it is a good 30 min walk from the train station, but u can get to it via water boat. Right on the canal and on to a small piazza and very very close to the Rialto Bridge

We were in Hotel Alla Fava in Venice, and we can recommend this place. Its location is great, and the room is big and clean. The staff is very kind. Also, I think that the breakfast is good.

Very basic, no "wow" factor here, but cute, clean, and affordable, which are a deal in Venice. Rooms are small but decent. Would stay here again.

the smell that everyone mentions is cabbage... its a drainage thing and you sort of get used to it. Rooms are tiny as is the breakfast area (the breakfas 'gils' we had were also quite ignorant). But its cheap and v central and reception staff were lovely

The hotel was great. The breakfast was the same as the others B&B I stayed in Italy. The bed was good to sleep. And the location was great. The staff helped a lot to find the best thing to do with the time we had in Venice.

Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast in the morning was very nice. Awesome location! The bathroom had an odd smell coming out of it but wasn't too bad- maybe something to do with plumbing in Venice?

this place is was good..rooms were warm and clean. breakfast was really good...and the staff were really nice...even though breakfast is supposed to be served from 7 or 8am (can't remember), we had to leave really early in the morning and the they still prepared breakfast for us which was really...

the best hotel stay for my 4 city trip in italy. very friendly and helpful staff, nice ambience, and free internet access. within short walking distance from the river boat stop. for the cost, it's a great deal :)

Really pleasant location, near to Rialto Bridge. The staff were helpful, the accommodation good value for money. I would revisit the Hotel Alla Fava.

Although perfectly located between San Marco and Rialto, this is a very quiet hotel with friendly staff and a good (simple) breakfast. Very clean rooms where we enjoined a good sleep in comfortly beds. Really friendly staff. Directions to hostel are a little misleading (took us 40 minutes to find it and realize it was right near the water bus stop), but it was a great experience. Again, really great staff, nice room, a TV, and just a great experience. Great christmas decorations too!

This place for the money was a waste of time. Nothing seemed to work, the bathroom, the lights and the shower only had cold water. No fun around here. Stay away! The staff only got of the phone after 10 min and after i said exuse me. The man behind the desk did not even look up at me to say hello.
