Definately recommend to a friend. Everything as is on website, staff are so accomodating and perfect if you remember to ask for a canal view. Theres nothing quite like being woken up by a serenading gondola in the morning!

One of the guys who worked there was really really nice (Antonio), but one guy on the night shift made me feel uncomfortable as a woman on my own by being overfriendly in an inappropriate way.

The Campo on which the hostel is situated is just beautiful. Eating breakfast on the campo was perfect with great coffee and cute waiters.

This hotel was wonderful. It was very close to all of the major attractions. The staff are very nice and extremely helpful. We would all stay at this hotel again in the future.

Not really a budget hotel. Great location on the island. 5 mins from San Marco square. Easy to find. Some of the staff was more helpful than others. Good free breakfast.

I have no complaints about this "hosetl", although it's actually a hotel. It was very easy to get to per the directions that they gave. Just get off the waterbus, walk straight, and at the piazza look to your right and there it is. The Location is excellent too. They're next to the waterbus stop, and also about a 5 minute walk from San Marco. The rooms were nice. Small, but nice, and for Venice, unbeatable for the money for sure. Breakfast was good as well. Normal continental breakfast, which really wasn't bad. I'd definitely stay here again.close

The staff was rude and not that helpful........they charged us for a map and one of the guys behind the desk was arrogant, snotty and unhelpful! Good location though, that was about it.

It is a excellent Hotel, with good ubication, good service, and continental breakfast. If you are looking for a real and beautifull hotel, this is the place, if you are the classical bakpacker this is not for you.

While to hotel is central and convenient, it could use a fresh coat of paint and new carpets in the rooms. Also would prefer some fresh bread at breakfast, we had lots of biscotti and the bread we were served was very small and stale.

This hotel is very close to San Marco, just 3 or 4 minutes. Besides, this hotel is just behind the boat station stop n°13 called Santa Maria del Giglio. The hotel would send you a confirmation letter after booking and tell you how to go there. Afantastic plave to stay. We read rrevies about how hard it was to find. We got off at GIGIlIA. If you do that and you can't find it you have to be blind. A great spot. The rooms have so much character and location is fantastic !!! Cheers

Good location, but ask for CLEAR instructions on how to get to this hotel since it can be VERY confusing the first time you land on San Marco (which makes it especially difficult when you have a lot of luggage).

We loved this place! It was one of the most expensive places we stayed but having air conditioning and a nice breakfast was incredible. It was really close to St. Mark's too.

I am Australian and I loved Venice and the hotel - Albergo Bel Sito is a great place to stay. If I can ever go back i would stay there again. The hotel staff where very friendly and the whole place is just full of charactor.

The Albergo Bel Sito is a budget hotel in a first-class position. Just five minutes walk from Piazza San Marco it offers adequate accomodation plus simple breakfast for a great price. Fantastic value.

really liked this place!! just off a little courtyard...nice little lobby and people to help with your bags. this was the same price as a 5th floor place in florence (that had no outlets in the room and bathroom was a cubicle!) with alot more character....close to the water taxis too.
