It felt like the owners had a big house and said,"Hey, I won't charge you that much if you want to spend the night".

The beds were crap, the bthrm (toilet inside) was shared between 15 girls (no hot water most of the time),had to ask over to get the sheets or blankets.. For breakfast they had no toast so gave us a few crackers and cold coffee/tea (&no cups) It felt like everyone was staying at their place and were a bit of an inconvience, rather than a hostel. I would recommend staying elsewhere!close

Its stunning....loads of character. Its in close proximity to all sights; located on a small canal 20 meters of the Grand Canal and one minute walk from S. Toma Vaperetto stop, then it is only 2 or 3 stops to Ponte de Rialto. If you are a cheapskate like me and are walking from Piazze le Roma just be sure to take a map with you. Because it is so young all the amenities are new and clean, and there is always a good pressure hot shower available....very good in November after sitting on a cold vaperetto. Beds are comfortable with new spring mattresses. The staff here one of the best parts of the place. They are hilarious, and best of all aren't jaded by the thousands of tourists who come through the city each day. Very helpful and have local knowledge, great fun to drink wine with and have a chat or play a bit of guitar. There is always music playing, free acess to internet, breakfast and dinner are provided. All in all a great experience!close

Most fun I've ever had in a hostel... would definitely go back! Great place to meet people. Having breakfast and dinner included was really fantastic and made the hostel feel like home even though I was only there for two days. Would have liked more blankets, as the rooms are large and got cold...

Every time my guy friend came to visit he was asked to leave. On the last day I was there a group of boys came who ended up paying 10 euros more even though there were unused rooms and they had booked ahead of time. Worst hostel I have ever stayed in. It is not close to St.Mark's. There are no lockers and there are no locks to the room doors. I would have rather stayed in a hotel that is practically the same price.

Very good hostel, nice people around near Piazza San Marco. Improve needed on the directions to the Hostel, because Venice is a Labyrinth. A good hint is to call the staff for the directions and get to Venice at daytime, while you can ask people for directions.
