Its far away from Venice, you can take their shuttle in and out or the public bus but will probably end up spending nights in the camp site rather than on the canals. The pool is really handy after a big day in venice but it closed at 7pm!

Main problem is that it's a 20 min bus trip to Venice and the bus is often full and crowded (you almost need to fight to get on)! The pool was great... but some of the tents were smelly!

I stayed in a 3bed air con dorm. Essential during summer months to avoid being destroyed by the killer mosquitos. The bar is good fun most nights and the shuttle bus is handy, but dont be afraid to take the public bus if you want more flexibility, it is easy.

The location is not the worst, but the camping does not have a kitchen where you can cook, forcing you to eat out; the other thing I didnt like was the fact that the place has no common areas to meet other people, I was alone in one cabin and I meet noone!

I would definitely stay here again, only problem is how far away it is from Venice, but there is a bus that leaves frequently and if you take it early enough, you will be able to see enough of venice to catch the last bus to the campsite. Theres also a bar at the site to make up for not being able to see the nightlife in Venice.close
