Toilet door was broken, thus a point taken off for clealiness. Situated fairly close to the main attractions of Venice, not that there are many...Hotel receptionist will open the door for anyone who buzzes.

The staff was ok; the first man we talked to pretty much did as little as possible to help us. We asked him several questions very typical to tourists and he didn't provide any good answers. We asked him where a good place to eat was and he recommended a place vaguely knowing how to get there, but not knowing the name. The other owner, however, was much more helpful. We were unsure about whether our flight would be on time and how to get there, and he immediately looked up all the details we needed providing much more help than we had anticipated. He did everything possible to make sure we had a great stay. Would stay here again.close

Great hotel. The room was amazing. We loved that breakfast was brought right to our room each morning. Thanks for a great vacation in Venice!

No complaints there â€" and outstanding value. Breakfast â€" the customary white bread roll and jam -- was delivered promptly and served at a lovely table by the window. Venice was still a crowded tourist hell hole in September, and this was a welcome sanctuary. The hostel was clean, the regular rooms we saw were big by Italian standards but the position alone makes it a good choice.close

This is a beautiful hotel that is located right in the centre of Venice. It is a great place to go if you are looking to relax and have a quiet sleep. It is definitely a classier place and is not suitable for those that are looking to party and meet other backpackers.

A very charming hostel. Quite intimate- you could hear the staff at the front desk from our room so I guess they could hear us!The room was very nice, spacious, smart. Excellent location. Steps away from Rialto bridge and the vaperetto stop.

Didn't get our free trip to Murano as the boat had "broken down" on the day we booked it. No reduction in bill as we had to miss breakfast on final day because of early start back. Staff did wake us, but it would have been even nicer if they'd woken us with a cup of tea!

A quiet centrally located small hotel. With an excellent breakfast (if you take the italian standard of breakfast as the measure). I would always try to book there again.

I would highly recommend this place - excellent with everything. We felt very welcome and at home. My pick so far of the places we stayed on our 5 week holiday through England, France and Italy.

The room was superb, and we were right in the middle of Venice. Would definitely try to book into this hotel again if I were to ever return to Venice.

Our only criticism is that we booked a hotel room and on arrival found that we had been given an apartment that was not serviced for the 4 days we stayed here,

May be a little bit noisy (of course it's downtown!), but everything else is simply great, and the location is just perfect, walking distance from everything !
