There was a confusion with our booking and arrived at the B&B only to find out there weren't any availabilities for our whole stay. I'm writing this review because the host was so lovely. She let us come up, put our bags down, use the bathroom (which was spacious and clean) and then sat down... more There was a confusion with our booking and arrived at the B&B only to find out there weren't any availabilities for our whole stay. I'm writing this review because the host was so lovely. She let us come up, put our bags down, use the bathroom (which was spacious and clean) and then sat down with us and helped us find alternative accommodation in Venice. Once booked (and getting get us a discount) she walked us the hotel. So even though we didn't stay here (disappointedly), make sure you make B&B San Giacomo the place you stay in Venice!close

Had a very pleasant stay. Excellent location and very friendly help. Lovely and clean so I would recommend this place highly. The shower isn't the best but not much to worry about

B&B San Giacamo was a wonderful place to stay. It is located within five minutes walk of the train station, which meant we only had to carry our packs a short distance. It is within easy walking distance to the Rialto and San Marco, as well as dozens of other interesting places to see in... more B&B San Giacamo was a wonderful place to stay. It is within easy walking distance to the Rialto and San Marco, as well as dozens of other interesting places to see in Venice. Itala, the owner, was wonderful and very hospitable. I would definitely recommend this B&B.close

The place was really great! House was beautiful and Italia the owner is really nice and hospitable. My only problem was the breakfast. If your a sweet tooth you will love it but if your chasin some plain old toast your out of luck, there is cream rolls, a roll with cream in it and some other... more The place was really great! If your a sweet tooth you will love it but if your chasin some plain old toast your out of luck, there is cream rolls, a roll with cream in it and some other sweet stuff, all pre packaged wish she just had a toaster with some bread for the guests but when you meet Italia you will understand that you wont have the heart to critize anything. Great place to stay!close

Location matched the price fairly. Rooms all clean and comfortable. Excellent hostess - always kind and polite! Wasn't sure about the location for safety, but I don't know Venice! (never had any trouble though) Excellent stay.

the location of the bed and breakfast was relatively hard to find but staff were most accomodating.and had alot of character to the place.almost felt like a true venetian living in venice.
