Varna is a seaside resort with a cosmopolitan atmosphere, and is located on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. From endless beaches to endless disco, this small city has it all, including some historical sites. The city's archaeological museum is a must-see, while the huge gold-domed Assumption of the Holy Virgin Cathedral is also well worth a look. At the end of July, the popular International Music Festival Varna Summer takes place and brings a lot of visitors to Varna. There are plenty of opportunities for shopping in the boutiques and markets dotted throughout the city centre, with Piccadilly Park and Central Plaza as two of the main shopping districts. Varna has a number of restaurants that spread right along the coast. Nightlife is key here, and the party goes from morning until night each and every day.
