On the other hand, I found in this hotel unmatched honesty and solicitous service. Also, there is a reasonable restaurant on the roof top, with good views of the ghatclose

Stairs are clean, but my room was not mopped in months. When power goes off, if they have few guests, they don't turn the emergency generator on and you bake in the hot room, when I complained that whas what I was told, The staff mis friendly.

As other people mentioned, being right next to the burning ghat is a bit of a drag, but the staff and the price more than make up for it. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

The rooftop restarant has a good veiw,good food and decent internet. Also a good place to meet other travellers.

This Hotel is ok. Not too far from the main ghats. A bit in a chaotic alley but Varanasi is a chaotic city anyway. Not a bad choice if your on a budget and you are arriving late in town. The room that are sold via hostel world doesnt include AC, but they have some room that have AC.

The peaceful roof terrace allows for great views of what is happening at the Ghat, and the restaurant serves excellent Indian food. The staff are all very nice. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk away from the center of the old town.The only small downside is that when the river is high during monsoon season, there are a lot of cremations happening right on the hotel doorstep, and during the day the hotel can be a bit smoky.close

Its a little impressive to be next to the crematory gats, but its location is superb, Mr Rajeev is the nicest and most honest person we've met in India, with no doubt we will stay again here. I recomend this place to everyone.
