The weather can be iffy in early spring, but I lucked out and it was in high 60s/low 70s (F) and sunny the days I was there. I hung out in downtown and The Old City area. If you like to shop for vintage anything, Old City is the place to be. There's a great cup of coffee around every corner, and a wonderful lunch or dinner to be found at the historic Patrick Sullivan's Saloon. Everyone is friendly, so if you get lost, don't worry. Anyone you stop to ask directions from will be sweet and not only get you back on track, but recommend something else that's a must see.close

Courtyard Marriott Knoxville 80%
New hotel, nice rooms, nice gym. Only one restaurant within walking distance and no in house restaurant to speak of. difficult to get to from the airport but they have a shuttle if you don't have a car.
