They bent over backwards for me since I had train difficulty, which was incredible. But realize that reception closes at 20:30, so plan accordingly

It's a nice place. Only have to watch out for the check in hours'. It's closed in the afternoon.

The manager speaks very good English, Tours is close to many castels. I would reccommend going to the tourist office and booking an excursion. You can get to Chenonceau by train.
