I liked Gdansk better for this kind, because there is much more to do...... but good anywayclose

Torun is called a city but don't expect a sprawling metropolis like London, Paris or Warsaw. In reality it's a less than average size town with all the sights to see concentrated within the Old Town/New Town area. In reality it's a less than average size town with all the sights to see concentrated within the Old Town/New Town area. You could see nearly everything there is to see in a day but if you like to visit museums, maybe stay two days. The time of year I was there, the place was 'dead' in terms of night time entertainment with many places being closed. However, I was informed this was due to Torun being a university town and the students would not be back till October. Still, there were enough places open for a good night out even though the place wasn't exactly buzzing. Definitely worth a day or two on your itineray.close
