2Torrevieja in the winter is a little quiet, and many places are shut. The weather is OK though and there are a few good beaches to visit. This is more of a centre for exploring the rest of the area, don't expect to be entertained out of season. Hotel Madrid 81%
The hotel itself was good and the staff were very helpful. Just a shame that Torrevieja is a chav infested scum hole, equivalent to Blackpool with more sun but much less culture.

It seems a bit pokey being down in the "cellar", and a bit damp too I thought. Holiday places should be light and airy.

This is the best kebab place in the centre of Torrevieja for sure! They have a small terrace but you can eat inside as well, the food is delicious, the service is excellent and quick and the prices are reasonable too.Try "Plato mixto" if you can eat a lot with a caña to make it complete!

Found This while on holiday, it had only just opened but it is the best looking bar in the area, Very classy, not the usual torrevieja cheap and nasty. Nice chap who runs it too,
