There was mould on my shower curtain, but otherwise the hotel (and it *is* more a "hotel" than a hostel, with individual rooms and private showers), was immaculate. The service was mostly disappointing (with some sterling exceptions). In particular, staff seemed quite unaware of the hotel's own services, as described in the binder in the room. I do not believe their excuse that their English was "poor". However, I would stay here again.close

Food at breakfast poor. Rooms stank of cigarette smoke. Bathrooms very poorly ventilated & smelt badly.

You have to remember that English is not the mother tongue for Japanese; few staffs speaks enenglish fluently.

Friendly and efficient staffs. Highly recommended for family travel. Serves good breakfast - important. Easy to get to hotel from TCAT. Easy to get to Disneyland from hotel.

Cheap for Tokyo. Not the most happening location but it is only a few meters to the nearest underground station. Save the money you should have paid for a hotel in Shinjuku and take the tube there instead. Great breakfast, clean good rooms, friendly service despite lack of english. 20 minutes... more Cheap for Tokyo. many businessmen, not so much the hostel i was expecting filled with many young foreigners. nonetheless, a pleasant experience and a good hotel in a great location.
