Located in an area a bit far from everything, but I enjoyed my stay here. There is a nice common area with free internet access over looking a leafy courtyard. This place is good value for money if one is after cheap lodging in Tokyo.

Room was small but clean and fine. Everything was a bit worn out looking, but the staff were very nice and it was quite cosy. Bit further from the station than I expected though!

Very nice place to be if you want to save some bucks, good location, near a JR station, metro and even bus,but the zone hasn´t got much to be seen.

Nothing special. I can only remark about my room, but it was dingy and smelly. The common room was great though and all the guests hung out into the wee hours of the night. Simply for the plethora of other great options in Tokyo, I would probably not stay here again.

i wouldn't stay again. it's pretty much a cheap hotel with shared showers. bathrooms terribly laid out. area is odd. mostly old males hanging out in the area. I'd stay at one of the hostels again, they're great.

Also, if there is a party on the 1st floor (as there was when I was there), you can hear the noise from a room on the 2nd floor. Not good.close

Aside from the area not seeming that exciting, the staff certainly do their best to make everyone feel at home, i.e. social gatherings in the hotel lobby after the 1AM curfew. There is a curfew time, but that isn't that big of an issue if you're looking for a night out in Tokyo. The lobby closes by 1am and is open again at 5am. And the threat of losing your key during your adventures around the city are totally avoidable as the key never leaves the hostel and is kept in the main office until your return. All in all, a good stay at a good price. **OH!! Be sure to ride the elevator in the early mornings and/or evenings....you can see Fuji from the elevator!!!close

The location doesn't really matter due to the Tokyo metro. Character can't really compete with small places like in Nikko but that's to be expected. Staff were pleasant and helpful, though we didn't have any problems for them to sort out. No complaints, decent value.

MANY. well, a plus point is the internet connection and hot-tub (public). many hotels don't have internet or wireless for you to use (for free), so you might take it up on the extra service. public baths are norm in japan, but a hot-tub is sugoi for a day's travel, and girls can borrow the key to lock it, so no worries.close
