A really cozy place, you get a sense of home-similar to a bed and breakfast. Thanks for a comfortable stay and great service

This is a low-cost and clean hostel, well worth the money.

Room with space, clean, calm, friendly, but as anywhere else in Japan, the staff doesn' t speak japanese. This traditional ryokan is also close to Ueno and Asakusa, and the access of the others touristics attractions in Tokyo is easy. Good choice1

Sakura Hostel is coveniently located near the subway and has very kind and welcoming staff. The rooms are also kept very clean and exude a nice ryokan character. I was very comfortable and happy with my stay there and recommend this highly to others visiting Tokyo.

It's clean, cheap, the staff are nice, they speak a little english, there are good restaurants near by and some nice little shops. If you want to go out and party this is not the place to stay as they close at 11.30pm and don't let you in again until 6am. The location is also a bit difficult to get to at night, trains stop at 12.30-1am and a taxi from Tokyo Center to Asakusa is about US$100! You can always stay out partying till 6-7am and then get a train home in the morning (I did this once and its no prob as people in Tokyo clubs go crazy till 9-10am on Fri and Sat nights)... overall not a bad place but I would stay somewhere more centrall like Roppongi or Shibuya next time....close
