All in all, this was a good hotel. Good location. But, be warned: the double beds are way too small for two people. In that sense, it's not a good value for your money.

A reasonable budget hotel in Tokyo. Rooms are small but comforable. Very close to Ikebukuro station, which is convenient. It is a hotel rather than a hostel. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Some staff were both very very helpful and friendly, while others were very much unwilling to help - luck of the draw I guess. Nothing super-stand out, but a very decent place to stay in a good location in Tokyo.

The hostel was excellent, apart from the fact that it didn't have any good social areas, such as a tv lounge or anything. This could make it agonising to meet people at times. However I cannot fault any other part of the hostel.

The Sakura Hotel was very clean and efficient. I totally enjoyed my stay there, the staff were friendly, the internet access was cool and pretty cheap (although those Japanese Keyboards can be a little tricky for us English speakers) And a great location in Ikebukuro!

The rooms are very small and the beds make noise at the slightest movement. There is no free internet as advertsied, unless you have your own computer. Other than that, it a pretty good place.

This hostel is great! I live in Ibaraki but have now been making it my new place to stay when visiting Tokyo! It is fantastic! Lockers would be good for residents in the dorms. It is unsafe (as safe as Japan is) to have to leave your bags out...

This hotel is in a great location and is clean but doesn't provide towels. Very impersonal but it is a hotel not a hostel. We prefer hostels but if you just want a bed, this is a good place to go. Excellent range of foreign beers if you're happy to pay.

Good value, functional. Call them directly or use their website... that way they get a fair price and HostelWorld won't steal your deposit.

We had originally booked a dorm room but we were delighted that although they had over booked they gave me and my sister each a private room instead. Awesome!

Excellent hostel, very clean and friendly only suggest would be that somewhere to store luggage in the room would be good. I stayed in 6-bed dorm and it was very difficult with space for everyone's luggage.

Would have been nice. Also, had a little issue with the room leaking. Overall, I definitely recommend this hostel.close

5 minute walk from subway station, you can store your luggage in a side room but security is minimal, private rooms are clean but I was not allowed to share a private room with a girlfriend and she had to sneak in from the stairs.
