90%New Izu Hotel

Handy location, a bit hard to find from directions but when I rang for help, a kind staff member came and got me...no problems, I was happy staying here.

New Izu Hotel is a great hotel to stay in! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is located at a really convenient location!

5 mins walk from Ueno station so good location for exploring Tokyo. Rooms compact but clean and comfortable, staff very helpful. Free internet in reception, though only 1 PC avilable.

We stayed at the New IIzu very briefly. They were great in that they sent us an email with directions from the station within hours of my making my booking. It is very convenient to the station and the Ueno sightes and, I think, the staff would be pretty friendly if you have time to get to know... more We stayed at the New IIzu very briefly. A safe, well located hostel, very nice staff, free internet acess 24/7, it is a very good place to stay in Tokyo !

The staff in this hotel went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, the room had everything we needed, and the location was central and easy to find with the emailed directions provided. A Japanese experience without anxiety. All round well done.

A nice, quiet, clean place to stay. More of a budget hotel than hostel (as I wanted). Very friendly staff!

The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is good and close to central Ueno, without being too noisy. The rooms were small, but functional.
