Beds could really use some work, they were too hard. And the bottom of the door left an awful lot of light in all night. Nice place over all for the price. If nothing nicer were available I'd definitely be willing to return.close

Our room with bunkbed in it was the tiniest we'd slept in all trip. Barely room to put our bags down without falling over them. Also, the living area smelt rather like someone had thrown up on the tatami and the odour wafted up the stairwell. Shower/toilet room although clean, was mixed sex which...

The room was very very small. other than that it is a good place. the train station that you get off at for the hostel has lots of stairs and no lift, so if you have a lot of luggage it is a bit of hard work.

They spoke very good english and were helpful in addition to a number of available travel guides in the reception area. The location was great- very close to the subway station, just a few stops from busy nightlife. The "capsule" bunk beds were very convenient and clean. It was a great way to store your stuff during the day- just lock it in your bed area. Showers were clean and I liked that there was one bathroom area to each separate floor. First floor had free internet (which is always a plus) and there was no curfew. All in all, the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Great character, clean and cheap.close

location is superb! less than 100m from Bakurocho station, could be a little more social but maybe that is the people staying there more so than the accommodation itself. Very highly recommended.

For my opinion the place is quite good and would be great for most of the young people (younger than me). Only one thing that I feel reluctant about Khaosan Tokyo Ninja was the sharing shower room and toilet with the opposite sex. That's just only my thought. (- _ -")
