Brand new and extremely clean. Quite well located at one stop from Yamanote line. Great and big common area with an excellent kitchen. Rooms extremely tiny though. Apart from that, the rest was just perfect.

Great fun, but only for one night. They are not set up for backpackers and your luggage is problematic for more than one night. I recommend it for one night only, its fun.

the baggage security could do with an overhaul but other than that pretty top notch. Great place to stay if you're into your manga and anime and loads of places nearby to eat.

When we tried to use the Internet in the reception (find an ATM) we were nearly kicked-out and told that they did run a business & we needed to pay fist before using the internet. But we needed to use it so we could find out where to get money. Japan has the most unfriendly money system - foreign credit cards. It can hardly be used.close

as females, we found it quite hard to find a capsule hotel, as most are catered towards businessmen. this one was quite touristy, but a great capsule hotel experience!

Capsules are pretty big for one person, but maybe a bit short if you're over 6'8". Very clean. They won't hold your luggage if you come early tho.

Please note that this is a capsule inn--many seem ticked off after arriving and realising that this isn't a hostel. My experience was a pleasant one, though they won't let you use anything until after five. Well, maybe the toilet.

A nice experience, but only for a night. Hard to sleep because of the guy next to me who snored really loudly. You hear everything through the plastic walls. Was an interesting experience nonetheless.

If you're in Japan you have to try this. The capsules are surprisingly spacious and the bath area is really nice. Don't stay here if you plan to go out drinking and leave the next day however as the checkout time is 10:00 :(

The locker provided is far too small to fit even the smallest bag in and so the bags are locked onto a rack in the lobby. There is a communal area but again it is the small lobby. The capsules don't lock, you simply pull a blind down once you are inside. Equally sound insulation is minimal so sleeping beyond 5am when all the businessmen's alarms start going off is impossible. The area is not Tokyo's most exciting although is quite central. It is worth doing as an experience but one night will be plenty! Especially as those staying longer have to check out in the morning then check back in again that evening!close
