Nice place! Kinda hard to find though. I had a private room with bunk beds, it also had a tv and balcony. Only 1 shower and 1 bath though.

We stayed in a private room. It everything you need for a comfortable stay, except that during our 4 night stay they didn't clean once. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Although the hostel is relatively close to Minowa station - it is another hour to anywhere of significant interest outside Ueno.

At least try for a hostel in Ueno, NOT Minowa (which is two stops further north).close

Great hostel ... 10 minute walk from the Minowa station on the convenient Hibiya line. Clean, secure (get a locker), and fun (you can always meet really fun people in the lounge). Staff is very friendly and helpful. And on a vain note, one of the guys there, Yosuke, is really attractive <3.

I really liked this place. The rooms were well priced and clean. The communal areas were great for socializing. The only prob is that it is a bit far out.If you want to go out, you will have to go out the whole night

My advice is to try to find some other hostel in the same price range, that will surely be better.close

Great place, locations not the best but really fun. Staff is friendly and helpful except for 1 guy who is a complete jackass, but only saw him once in my whole stay so it wasnt a big deal. Definately one of the best hostels in my stay in Japan.
