There's a big full moon party not to be missed every month and nice beaches. lots of sporting opportunities sp. diving and treking in jungle. good for cycling too.… more quite a few few resorts offering classes of yoga.close

  “ Really enjoyed our stay at Koh Phangan...Koh Samui had too many tourist on the beach and can be a little annoying (stayed mostly at Chaweng and Lamai). Phangan is a good place to stay but it's smart to rent a motorbike to get around...I think the cheapest way (the local taxis/tuk tuks)… more rip you off at night charging double the price. I would recommend getting out of Haadrin and exploring other parts of the island. Didn't go siteseeing at all, the beaches were nice enough for me!close
