  “ I love the Odyssey I’ve stayed at the Odyssey several times in the past few years (I have a slight Italy obsession. I can’t stay away). Taormina is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been in the world. It’s popular with more than just backpackers, so rooms can be very expensive. Beds… more at the Odyssey are a great deal. And there’s a great atmosphere at the Odyssey that you can’t get at a hotel. There is a little balcony off the common area with a view of the ocean. I like to sit there and drink wine or eat ficci di India (prickly pears). There’s a kitchen which I think is a huge perk, and there is an beautiful front sitting area where you can eat dinner with your awesome fellow travelers. Enjoy! close
