comparing with reval inn near the port skane hotel is expansive, breakfast was very poor and didnt understand why the egg was with sausage. dont you think there might be vegetarian customers ???

One of the few hotels to ban late night female guests as a security measure. Excellent for rail, tram and seaport jf you are stopping in Tallin as a cheap way to St Petersburg.

just outside the old city..if you have a rental car this place is ideal, because parking is available. spacious and bright. only downside is the mediocre breakfast.

Hotel was fine but smoking was allowed at the breakfast room - yuck. And my room got smoky on an evening because I think the smell came up from the pub below. Oherwise highly recommend and good value for money.

The staff was very friendly. The hostel stands out among others I've stayed in for the following reasons: 1. private bathrooms 2. a nice TV in the room with lots of channels 3. breakfast included Thanks!

I had the unroftunate need to use the Tallinn hospital (I slipped on the ice!), and I would just like to say the reception staff at the Hotel Skane were fantastic- booking a taxi and even telephoning the hospital to make sure someone spoke english.What a wonderful and friendly hotel!

You will get value for your money at this hotel! Close to the centre of the city, cheap and clean. And they have wooden floors instead of the usual wall-to-wall carpets.

Reallly GOOD value hotel. Not located in the nicest part of Tallinn but as it's so close to the Old Town (cross the road and you are there) and within walking distance to the Virus district - I don't think it really matters. It's quite basic but it's very clean and the staff are more than helpful.

Fantastic location - 5 mins walk to the old town. Reception staff very polite and friendly. Hearty breakfast and really clean rooms with own bathroom. The only slight downside was that there were single beds in rooms when we thought we were getting doubles.
