This is a really popular part of Sydney and is home to some of the cities best bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Favourite spots are Bungalow 8, Cargo, Home, James Squires and Pontoon and most serve food as well as alcohol so you can camp for the night.close

You can also window shop!

If you have a few quid then there is plenty of shopping, restaurants and bars to enjoy.

For kids there is Imax which is excellent, aquarium where you get to see sharks up close and personal and the martime museum. These are just a few of the things I did there. I always spend a lot of time in this area when in Sydney as it is just so nice.

You can use the Sydney monorail to get there which is one of those touristy things you just do because you can! It’s a bit of a waste of money as you can walk to the harbour from city centre easily.close
