Just a two hour drive from Sydney, the Blue Mountains are well worth the trip if you have a day to spare. There are heaps of tour companies running day trips to the mountains but you can also drive yourself there as it's an easy drive. There are heaps of tour companies running day trips to the mountains but you can also drive yourself there as it's an easy drive. It can get very hot in summer so spring and autumn are probably best times to go there. Oh and they also host Christmas in July every year which is good fun.close
