Not so good. Poor smell in the room (private for 2). Some person smoke outside the room & noise 'till late. Location: Kings Cross (not the best in the city...)

This hostel was great if you're wanting to meet people, go out and do lots of activites and get involved with the sydney lifestyle. Not too far from town with good and clean if basic amenities! I would definately go again.

Very welcoming hostel, not too close or far away from the middle of kings cross which is nice. got lotsa free beer on thurs night and mark gave us drink tokens in world bar too, goin back in a few days!

This hostel kicks ass.. The staff is extremely friendly and there is always something going on. It is indeed "home far away"

Full of people who work in the city full time, very poor kitchen facilties and no decent common areas. Didnt feel clean at any point in our stay. good value but one to avoid

That was awesome! In this Hostel i had that much fun and i enjoyed every minute of my stay! Staff and other backpackers are so friendly and try to help u whereever they can! Even that the Hostel is one of the oldest ones in Sydney, changes nothing at the warm Character this Place is sending out!... more That was awesome! have stayed in a few different hostels in sydney but this one was by far the best!Really friendly and helpful staff, good location and a fun atmosphere, would recomend this hostel to anyone!

Clean the damn place for god sake. The locals do over run the place and can get slighlty anoying. Also needs ladders for beds. Was ok but would suggest elsewhere if possible. Oh and it was bloody freezing.

On our first trip it was excellent. On returning, we ended up in a dark, dank, smelly and vastly overcrowded room.

This hostel was a wicked one! I stayed only one night but this night was awesome. The whole hostel went out and we had a great time! The staff is very friendly and they knew my name very fast. :-) the free breakfast is very good and enought. Of course clean rooms and bathrooms. Conclusion:...

The room I stayed in was the staff dorm room. It was the dirtiest dorm room i've ever stayed in. The staff wanted me sleeping there as much as I wanted to be there.

I nearly trashed myself trying to climb down their bunk bed because they had no banister and only room for one foot. Their cabinets sit right next to the steps and one door just happed to swing/be open when I was climbing down and caught my leg and @%@WHAM%#. If this happened in America, I'd be a millionaire by now. Saftey issues aside the kitchen has no dining room - just a picnic bench outside crammed with smokers and drinkers. There was no dining room inside to sit down and eat! Oh and the free breakfast: a brown salt shaker I'm told was coffee, a box of brand X corn flakes, and a loaf of sliced bread - yum! Alot of permanent residents there, you can feel an "Us vs. Them" vibe. Go only if you can get a private room to share with friends, otherwise there are much more practical places to stay.close

Noisy, felt more like a Uni house. Everyone got pissed. Staff were nice and Kings Cross is a fine location. It'd be a good place if you're planning to go out every night but for a nights kip look elsewhere.

it is not as all the same as advertised, the pictures for the website must have been taken 5 years ago, its run-down, very poor facilities, and horrible, i do not recommend anyone to stay here.

I had a great stay - the staff were really nice, good fun and so helpful. The Pink House is simply the best place to stay if you're in Sydney - just don't think of anywhere else!

it s a good step to begin a travel but there are lot of frensh people in this back pak. the staf is friendly . It 's clean and the breakfast is free

On the morning of our check out at 10am the receptionist was asleep facedown on the sofa in the public lounge. Another fellow guest checked us out!! I would not stay here again, even though the location is good.close

This was the 4th time I have returned to the Pink House - and once again I loved it! The staff are always friendly, the other guest really welcoming regardless of how long they have been there. If you want to have fun and make great friends this is the hostel for you!
