This hostel has the advantage of being directly in the city centre. For the rest forget it. Plus they have a pick up service: it is slow and the bus driver was rude etc...

one main thing i didn't like about this hostel was the fact that there were no locks on the unisex showers and toilets, but location was amazing, staff were good and rooms were comfortable!

Great location. Darling harbour is a short walk, Opera house more but still comfortable. Supermakets, bars, buses, trains everything you need close by. The staff are welcoming and helpful. We'll come back to stay at the end of our trip before we depart back to england! :(

Very clean and secure but the air conditioning wasn't working so we had to open the window and listen to all the noise of drunks in star bar and trucks reversing all night. No complaints with anything else

I had moved to this backpackers from another one as the other one was very dirty. this backpackers was very clean and the staff are friendly also. I will definately be coming back.

Sydney is such a great city and Sydney Backpackers was a fanatastic place to enjoy Sydney. Fanatstic venue, so close to everything and staff were very helpful and friendly. Thanks guys

Vary good location is really good in center of CBD. Place is very clean compare to other backpackers. Staff was very helpful friendly. I am defiantly coming back.

Saw 5 cockroaches during my two night stay. No soap to wash hands with in the bathrooms. No safe place to stow luggage after check out. Had to keep getting someone from reception to open my door, as there seemed to be a problem with my key opening the door. Apart from that the location was...

Staff didnt communicate with others, shuttle buses were booked and then suddenly werent! waited hours to check out. Also when i was at checkout they lost a girls bag and a couple had waited 2 hours in reception. met some great people though! and was in a handy location. cheers

very small bathrooms, very small washbasins, there are no hook at all to hang your cloths and towel. too bad... also no floor mat, you will get slipped if you not be carefully in the bathrooms.

there is no 24 hour cancellation notice, so make sure you really want to stay there which after a night you probably won't. i was not allowed to bring a friend for even 2 minutes at 4 in the afternoon. A Great Location !! Near to all the major attractions The place is friendly and had everything you could need either onsite or close by. Wouod definately recommend this hostel to anyone staying in sydney

Your prices were very high.. We know that it's new year.. But you are an hostel, and your prices should stick to it.. Some of the beds sucked!! Fix the AC in room 25!!!!

Not too clean but will probably find worse but my room was like a prison cell with no view of outside world! too many people in it and they keep turning the air con off! staff were freindly and helpful tho!
