I shared a room with 3 friends and it is so cheap. It was great having our own television and computer (with free internet). The laundry facilities were also free, but I found because of this, they were always in use and I had to do my washing at 1 am. The rooftop is a nice place to chill out and have a BBQ. The 'fixed' furntiure looks a bit tacky, but the view over Syndey's CBD is amazing. The lodge is in Glebe, which is a 20 minute walk from the city, but there are plenty of shops in the area and the amazing 'Broadway' shopping centre is just around the corner. The only problem with the place was the cockroaches, although Sydney seems to have a lot of cockroaches anyway, the room seemed to have way too many, which gave me the impression that the place was infested.close

If staying in the dorm, please note that it is a 28 person mix dorm so expect it to be a fermenting pit, smelling like sweaty boys and last week's socks. The private rooms are much better I'm sure.

I felt spoiled staying at Rooftops. I had to move for 3 nights to Backpackers Village up the street and it was disgusting compared to Rooftops. I can't wait to go back and enjoy the perks, the roof, and the people. Thanks so much!
