It was a really lovely place to stay and was conveniently close to all the major attractions. There was a huge fight between a couple of guests on our last night there but I thought the staff handled it brilliantly and should be commended for it.

The storage room could be better. Either there should be personal lockers or the storage of things should be monitored by the staff. When i put my backpack there and when I took it out the room was open and i could have taken anything.

Glebe is a great location and the hostel is good and the staff are ace. The downstairs kitchen/lounge bit is a bit drab tho, and some people look like they were on the verge of tears, they were that miserable!! cheer up.

Really nice hostel to chill out at. Not too far from George St (walkable), and Glebe has lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Beds were comfy, and rooms had a sink in them which was great. The guy on reception was really chatty and helpful too! Would stay here again.

People seem to stay in their groups, which is a bit like in high school. This I found sad.People should welcome others,as i do.

But apart from that we really enjoyed our stay there. Will definitely recommend to others.close

I liked the hostel at first but I found the staff to be unfriendly and not helpful at all. It was an ok location. To get to the city its about a 20min bus ride but the area around the hostel is really quite which was nice. Other than that the tv room was probably the highlight about this hostel.

The kitchen was cleaned thoroughly everyday which makes a pleasant change from many hostels. More fridges needed perhaps but in general a great, safe, helpful hostel

Bit noisy in the early mornings when the cleaners do the bathrooms and switch all the fans on which are old and whine quite a bit.

Nice place that is in a different area then the central YHA downtown. You have to get on the bus from the train station, to far to walk with backpack. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't want the downtown city scene.

Glebe was a great location to stay. Very close to a beautiful park on the bay, and also a convenient walk to pubs and a main street loaded with shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets were very clean.

On the other hand, we had our backpacks stolen at the beach, and the staff was really super about helping with all kinds of details and were quite supportive.close

Funky suburban hostel on street with great cafes, Sat markets, big swimming pool facility in nearby Vic Park and good bus route directly to city. Nice bbq on roof on Fri night. Not too social at night which suited us.
