There was a great atmosphere and cheery staff. The floors, bedding, tables were all very clean and we were blown away by the shower rooms. All very nicely decorated just like staying at someones house, with the toilet, shower and sink all in the same room like a private bathroom. Really impressed. Have already recommended it to others. Very good stay, close

A very fine hostel. I'm not the biggest fan of Kings Cross but most backpackers flock there. This hostel is located just off the much nicer Victoria Street so you can avoid the worst the Cross has to offer if you prefer.

the ensuite was awesome, but the people in my room, having sex at night was a bit much, it was hard to sleep, cramped beds and weird temperature.

Thought this Hostel was really good, sta are great, and rooms are nice, only downfall is, 90% of people staying here are German. I like German's, but only a few people I can speak to. so its alittle boring at times.

Staying at Eva's was so nice, it is very very close to city centre. the only thing which was disturbing were some young germans (guests as well). The rest of it, was perfect. The terrace is magnificent with its view and bbq!

And the tickets for the Opera House aren't too expensive so UI would recommend that too!close

The only thing was that it was cold and damp and there was no heat. Made sleeping impossible and all my clothes were always "wet". Other than that, it was great. The staff is kind, especially the regular weekday morning girl, a true GEM

the location is good, near the king's cross atation , and the room is clean . The poor thing is that we can hear some noise at night. In fact, I will live in that hostel again when I visit SYDNEY again. It is a nice place.

Very friendly, safe and relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of people to talk, play cards, watch movies or go out with, enough space to get some alone time. Lots of charming Germans.

Really nice place to stay, great location and great chance to meet people especially if you're on your own due to homely feel and great communal areas.

Extremely clean, but lacking atmosphere. The staff are not very helpful or friendly. The lady who cleans is great though - very friendly too. Kitchen is very cramped.

Thanks to the super-nice staff who gave me a map and the what-to-do in Sydney on my first day there I had no problem finding my way around in the city... Met very nice people at the hostel and the rooftop with skyline view is GREAT. I'd stay at Eva's again, definitely. Thanks staff!!!

Main problem (and why we would not stay again) is because the communal areas are far too small for the amount of people staying. Kitchen tiny and not enough utensils or space to cook, tv room is actually a tv in the corridor which is frequently used as a bypass to people's rooms. Staff at check in were friendly, however, bad tempered tannoy announcements for guests who hadn't checked out by 10am gave the hostel a bad feel.close

The security was really tight which was good. The staff were all extremely helpful and moved rooms for me so i could stay with my friend at the last minute. The receptionist who checked me in was absolutely stunning!

Great hostel in a decent location. Friendly, helpful staff. Can be a bit noisy in early morning hours, but to be expected in this area. Airport transfers not included, but very reasonable at $12. Free internet/wifi a bonus.
